La Tour du Fleurance (restaurant)

The nearest proper sit-down dinner to the house. Honest regional cooking — duck confit, sweetbreads flambéed in Armagnac — rather than anything you would drive for. It seats seventy-six inside and about a hundred and fifty with the terrace, so it absorbs a party of twelve at short notice. The weekend closure catches people out.
