La Table de Nazère, Avezan (restaurant)

The best food within ten minutes of the house, and it is not close. The kitchen cooks out of a permaculture garden watered from springs and rainwater cisterns, which is why Michelin gave it a Green Star rather than a conventional one. Book — the dining room is in a restored stone hamlet and it fills.
