Barbotan-les-Thermes (town)

A spa town in the strict sense: Barbotan is the thermal quarter of the commune of Cazaubon, and its thermes run 18-day cures in rheumatology and phlebology, on a season that runs roughly March to November and closes over winter. Not a place for a casual dip, in other words. The non-curiste's reason to come is the Lac de l'Uby, a leisure lake nearby with a name in competitive rowing.
