Two days in late OctoberThe distillation season opens here: two days on the Place Royale at Labastide-d'Armagnac, with the lighting of the Flamme that then travels from village to chai through the winter. The Flamme de l'Armagnac that follows is a programme rather than a festival — several weeks of evenings in the domaines while the stills run.
