Year round, bar two weeks in January

Founded in 1151 and the best-preserved Cistercian house in the southwest, which would be reason enough. But the monks' dormitory now hangs a private collection running from Rubens to Picasso by way of Monet, Cézanne and Rodin. It is the most-visited site in the Gers, which here still means you will mostly have the cloister to yourself.
